Originally I planned to use some adjacent bench seats for this image, but the position of the low, bright sunshine dictated we move to the steps a few metres away. I wanted to show what Zak was doing, how he got there etc, so included his bike. The change in location adds to the image, with the contrast against the building itself, and the reflections in the windows. Careful composition and awareness of changing light conditions were other factors in capturing this image.
